SAF105 15-HR DISASTER SITE WORKER

Skilled Laborers responding to disaster sites are required to complete the OSHA 7.5-hr Disaster Site Worker training prior to entering a disaster site. The prerequisite for this training is completion of the OSHA 10-hr or 30-hr Construction or General Industry Course. Students will learn:

  • Incident Command Systems/Unified Command Systems
  • Safety Hazards
  • Health Hazards
  • CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive)
  • Traumatic Incident Stress Awareness
  • About Respiratory Protection
  • About Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • About Decontamination

Upon completion, students will receive the OSHA sanctioned 15-hr wallet card.
