AHA101 ACLS Provider – Advanced Cardiac Life Support – Initial

For healthcare providers working in emergency treatment, intensive care or critical care, and other professionals who may need to respond to adult emergencies. For entry into this class, it is highly recommended that students be proficient with CPR, AED’s, EKG interpretation, and pharmacology.

Audience:

Physicians, PA’s, Nurse practitioners, Nurses, EMS personnel, and Respiratory Therapists.

This course emphasizes the:

  • Importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival
  • Integration of effective basic life support with ACLS interventions
  • Importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as the team leader.

Upon successful completion of this entire course, the students receive an AHA ACLS Provider course completion CPR eCard valid for 2 years.
